Why keep your bins clean?

Less grime. Fewer odors. A cleaner curb.

Food scraps, grease, and dirty residue build up between trash pickups. Regular washing, degreasing, sanitizing, and deodorizing help keep your bins cleaner and more pleasant to use.

Remove grease & buildup

Pressure washing and degreasing lift sticky residue and trapped food waste from hard-to-rinse areas.

Cleaner bin surfaces

Cleaning removes grime where bacteria can thrive. Sanitizing is an additional step in caring for your bin surfaces.

Less attraction for flies

Removing food residue helps reduce breeding conditions for flies and their larvae—maggots. Keep lids closed and bag trash between cleanings.

Reduce unpleasant odors

Removing odor-causing waste and deodorizing helps keep the area around your bins fresher.

Frequently asked questions

When should I leave my bin out?

Leave your bins curbside or in the agreed accessible area on your confirmed cleaning day, ideally after your regular trash collection. Leave them empty whenever possible. We will notify you when your cleaning is complete.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as we can access your bins, you can carry on with your day. Please provide any gate code or access instructions when booking.

What if there is still trash in my bin?

At no additional charge, we bag ordinary household trash that can be handled safely in a large, heavy-duty bag supplied by BinGlow. We close it securely and leave it beside your clean, empty bins within your property. We do not transport or dispose of the trash; it remains the owner’s responsibility. We do not handle liquids, sharp objects, hazardous materials, or waste that is too heavy to move safely. The driver will contact you if these prevent cleaning.

What if weather prevents my cleaning?

If weather prevents us from working safely, or BinGlow cancels your visit, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional cost. Your paid cleaning remains available.

Can cleaning help with flies and maggots?

Yes. Flies can lay eggs in decaying food waste, and those eggs hatch into larvae called maggots. Removing that residue helps reduce breeding conditions. Cleaning does not guarantee a pest-free bin; bag waste, close the lid, and follow your regular trash collection schedule.

How do I keep my bin fresh between visits?

Bag food waste securely, avoid loose food scraps and liquids in the bin, keep the lid closed, and have trash collected regularly. Our monthly and biweekly memberships help you maintain a regular cleaning routine.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Northern Virginia. Send us your address when booking, and we’ll confirm availability for your location.

How are memberships billed?

Both memberships are billed monthly through Square. Monthly includes one cleaning of each bin per month; Biweekly includes two cleanings of each bin per month. On Square, select Subscription and the Monthly billing option. Keep quantity at 1: one package covers the number of bins selected on our website. One-Time Cleaning is a single payment, not a membership.

Can you clean more than one bin?

Yes. Monthly membership is $25 for the first bin and $10/month for each additional bin at the same address: 2 bins $35, 3 bins $45, 4 bins $55, and 5 bins $65/month total. Each bin receives one cleaning per month. Biweekly membership: 1 bin $35/month, 2 bins at the same address $50/month total, including two cleanings of each bin per month. From the third bin, add $10/month each to the $50 two-bin Biweekly package: 3 bins $60, 4 bins $70, 5 bins $80/month total. One-time cleaning is $25 per bin per visit. Online payment is available for monthly packages of 1–5 bins and biweekly packages of 1–5 bins. Other quantities are requests awaiting confirmation; we arrange payment after confirming service. Select your number of bins to see the total.
